The maximum production size of a horn depends on these requirements:
- the required amplitude
- the power of the used generator
- the plastic material
As well as the requested quality of the welded joint.
The general issue is the equal distribution of the amplitude. Without Computer Added Design this can’t be ensured. So we work with the most modern technology, to realize our challenging ambitions.
The above picture shows a titan horn with a workface of 400 x 30 mm. The difference of the amplitudes measured over the whole work surface is below 3 µm! With horns from hardened steel we accomplished work surfaces of over 120 cm².
