Apart from the new development in horns, the optimization of existing ones has a great importance in our company. Due to our extensive analysis and calculation abilities we are able to evaluate horns quickly and economically regarding their pulsate quality and realize optimizations.
The above-mentioned picture shows a typical example for a badly designed horn. Although the horn did work in a correct frequency, the horn had too much tension at its tip. This has resulted in cracks on the work surface. After some essential changes in the geometries, we managed extend the life cycle of the horn and improve the welding attributes.
